Shipping policy

This is the shipping policy of Byron and Byron limited products 

  • We try to fulfil orders as quickly as possible normally within 5 working days. We will inform you if an item is temporarily out of stock.
  • We do not ship part orders, and we may cancel out-of-stock items from your order to enable us to ship the remaining items.
  • If an order is placed before 11am Monday to Thursday we will endeavour to ship within 72h or 3 working days, if the client waves the 48h cooling period. Some remote areas are excluded from next day delivery and will incur and extra charge. See our list of remote post codes at the end of this page with the extra charge displayed.
  • All deliveries must be deliverable to the address where the credit card is registered, however, special instructions can be given i.e. deliver to your office, neighbour, etc. All delivery instructions must be agreed at the time of placing the order.
  • We cannot offer timed deliveries, although you will be able to specify the delivery day with the couriers directly.
  • Goods Insurance is not included in our shipping costs. As goods travel at your risk, transport insurance is an optional you may decide to have. However, you must choose to have and pay for it at your check-out.

A delivery note will be dispatched with the goods and a VAT Invoice will be sent by email. Keep your receipt safe as this can be used as support to proof of purchase for any return you wish to make to us.

Delivery FAQs

I've already placed an order, how will the current Covid restrictions affect this?

There will be no impact to your order whether you’ve placed it already or were planning to. We are still using contact-free home delivery for all orders across the UK to keep you and our colleagues safe.

How much does delivery cost and when will it arrive?

We offer more than one delivery type, so the cost and time frame for your delivery depends on which option you choose at your check-out. For full details of the different delivery charges and options, please see below. The kinds of delivery available for each product are displayed on individual product pages, but we'll also remind you when you get to the checkout.

Delivery dates: Can I choose a specific day?

Yes you can, once we have sent the goods and you have a tracking number, you will be able to interact with the couriers and make suitable arrangements directly with them.

Do I need to sign for my delivery?

We've paused the requirement for a signature on delivery to protect you and our delivery team.

When will I get my order?

This depends on what you've ordered. Once you reach the basket page you'll see a delivery date beside each item. For Standard Delivery items this will be an approximate date.

You can speed your order delivery by waving your 48h cooling off period.

How will I know my items are on their way?

Whatever items your order contains, you'll receive an email telling you what will happen next. This may include a link that will allow you to track the progress of your order. If you gave us your mobile number when you ordered online, you may also receive a text message from our couriers with more information about your delivery.

We’ll send you an email confirmation once you’ve placed your order, and the evening before your delivery is due, we’ll send you an SMS confirming a 4 hour time slot.

Missed delivery: what happens next?

If a courier attempts to deliver when no one is home, they'll leave a card to let you know what you should do next. In many cases they may get a neighbour to sign for your items, or try to deliver the following day, but all your choices will be listed on the card along with a contact number.

Can I change delivery details after my order is placed?

No, as a security precaution you can't change your delivery address once you've placed an order. This protects customers from address fraud and orders being redirected to a different unauthorised address after the purchase has been made.

Is international delivery available?

Not at the moment, but we're looking at expanding our horizons in the future to bring Cov-a-blind closer to international customers.
