Refund policy

What happens once you've placed an order?

Your order will be forwarded to our workshop and will be made to your specifications. Your made to order Byron and Byron product will be with you within 1 working week.

Cooling off period and additional terms of purchase

Before placing your order, check again the measurements we require (click here to require our Measuring Guide) for your installation to ensure that the size you gave us is correct and the size of the product you have chosen is suitable for your home and your needs.

After placing your order with us, there is a 2 day 'cooling off' period. During this time your order will not be processed, and you may cancel or amend it by:

  • writing to sales@byronandbyron.com,
  • by filling the Contact Form that the Sales Team will send to you via email
  • or by calling our Customer Services team on 02083447979.

After the 2 days 'cooling off' period, we will begin to create your Byron and Byron product and any request to cancel or amend will not be possible to implement. 

You can speed up your delivery by formally waving the right to a 48h cooling off period. By choosing to do so, you will be committed to buy on the sizes and colours you have chosen/ supplied at the time of your ordering and you will not be able to make any changes.

Pelmet colours may have slight variations due to different production batches, therefore we strongly advise that any items that must match are ordered at the same time, when possible.

Byron and Byron cannot accept responsibility for any colour or shade variations and will not accept returns on this basis.

Cancellations and amendments

Made To Order Byron and Byron product orders include a 2 day cooling off period, during which time you can contact us to cancel or amend your order free of charge.

Once the cooling off period has passed (or you have decided to waive), we will begin creating your custom made item/s immediately and so your order cannot be changed or cancelled.

Your Statutory Cancellation Rights are unaffected.

Returns and cancellations

The ordering process to place your Byron and Byron product orders include a 2 day cooling off period, during which time you can contact us to cancel or amend your order. Once the cooling off period has passed (or you have decided to waive it) items may not be accepted back unless they are faulty.

The main acceptable faults are:

  • inherent material faults present in the product ( damaged surface/peeling finish/poorly glued components)
  • We cut the product to the wrong size, not following your instructions.
  • We have supplied the wrong type of fascia profile from the one you have chosen.
  • Goods damaged in transit. These will be refunded only if an insurance cover has been bought at the checkout and any damages to the packaging was noted at the time of delivery or reported to us within 48h with supporting photos of the damaged package.
  • For any of the above listed reason , our 28 day returns policy will apply unless otherwise stated

Unsuitable or unwanted goods:

Byron and Byron is not obliged to take back an item simply because the customer has had a change of mind after the cooling off period of 48h.

However, at our discretion if we do accept an unwanted or unsuitable item back then Byron and Byron limited is happy to consider a credit note for the full amount paid. Less a 30% handling fee plus any cost of transportation incurred.

The following conditions apply:

  • The product is not a "Special Order item" (see below)
  • The product must be returned within 7 days of purchase.
  • Goods must be returned in their original unspoilt condition; i.e. unused and in their original packaging.
  • You must provide proof of purchase, for example the original sales receipt.
  • We may ask for identification (proof of address) to help combat fraud.
  • Your Statutory Rights are not affected

Special Orders

  • Special order items may not be accepted back unless they are faulty.
  • Your Statutory Rights are not affected

Faulty goods

Should your product be found faulty on delivery Customer Care will arrange the collection of your product for inspection.

  • Should the goods be verified to be faulty, Byron and Byron will either:
    • Deliver a replacement free of charge, or
    • Refund the price you paid for the goods if replacement is not required.
  • We are unable to issue any refund until the goods have been inspected.
  • Please include your customer reference number and contact details with the returned goods.
  • Your legal rights are not affected

In the event that a product you purchased on-line or mail order develops a fault during its guarantee, which is 12-months from purchase date, we may offer repair, exchange or refund as appropriate. Your legal rights are not affected. Please contact the Customer Care department for further assistance.

Your Statutory Cancellation Rights are unaffected.

Missing Parts

Should your product be found to be missing parts Customer Care will arrange for these to be sent out.

Refunds:

Refunds will normally be made to the same method of payment as your original purchase within 30 days of the transaction date.
