Baroque Polmets

The Polmet as an idea was conceived by Byron & Byron in 2006 to offer a slightly more decorative solution to hanging curtains than standard curtain tracking which is so prevalent in modern build homes.

For many of us the discipline needed to maintain a stark, minimalist interior, desirable as it is, is beyond our reach. Although we start out with good intentions, small individual details creep into to disrupt the order. Over time, objects and furnishings from different periods find their place in a more eclectic and individual mix.

The Baroque Polmet offers an ornamented detail, in a narrow selection of quite opulent finishes, on a tracking system that can accommodate panels, blinds, sheers, wave headed or even more traditional pencil pleat curtains. Being, fundamentally, a tracking system, the polmet can fit into smaller wallspaces between window and ceiling which are so often the feature of the new build interior.

The Polmets are made to order and are available up to 3mts in length.
