Leather is one of those classic ingredients to certain interiors, most obviously used in upholstery. Until now, it has not easily lent itself either aesthetically or practically, for the decoration of curtain poles. However, with the advent of the "polmet" a solution has presented itself and the stark, flat surface of the track is the perfect base for a range of window treatments incorporating leather.
Although leather, on sofas, can be used in furniture of many styles and epochs, the feel of the polmet is intrinsically more contemporary and so the range has been restricted to complement the more modern pieces. As such the collection is restricted to a very classic palette with stitching providing the only ornament. The only exception to this being the ponyskin in brown and cream.
The Skin Collection comes in cream, chocolate, and liquorice coloured leather and also in ponyskin, and is offered in a 50mm width. To accompany this, wall brackets and "end caps" come in polished brass, antiqued brass, chrome or matt black.
